Alize has been in practice since 1980. She began teaching homeopathy in 1986, establishing The Hahnemann Instituut of the Netherlands in the Hague, in l988. In addition to a full schedule of seminars throughout the world, she teaches a bi-annual weeklong seminar for post graduate students of many nationalities at the Hahnemann Instituut. Timmerman is a creative thinker and teacher. She synthesizes ideas from many disciplines, including the natural and social sciences and psychology, most particularly Jung.
